Low key and casual but tasty food, beautiful presentation, and great service. I got the French toast on Portuguese sweet bread and it was delicious- topped with fresh fruit. My family loved it, including my children and parents. The waitress was lovely. The service timing was appropriate for most of our food (my daughter's lobster omelet took a while but she had other things to eat during the wait). Culture fusion of Black American and Caribbean cuisine. Nice gem for Stoughton.
Food was great, especially the omelette. Atmosphere was a little dark and basic. Went at 11am on a Sunday, they had alcohol on the menu but were not serving.
My breakfast was excellent! I don't need my plate to be piled with food, instead I prefer quality and that's what I got. I even got a refreshing guava juice. 😋
Expectations were very high coming here based on all the positive reviews. Place had plenty of parking but can get packed. Workers were super busy but when we entered but got seated quickly. It took a while to get the food after ordering though.
Beef Patty taste like it should and is more fresh than the store bought ones. Surf and turf was okay but portions were a bit small. Jerk chicken with waffles were good but not amazing. Chicken was a tad dry. Ice coffee ☕ was a bit diluted.
I ordered the jerk chicken and waffles. The jerk chicken did not have a hint of jerk sauce/seasoning. I asked for the jerk sauce and they gave me oil. I feel like it was just fried chicken. The waffles were good.
Hands down one of the most delicious meals i have had the joy to experience. The staff were welcoming and kind, the space was warm and clean and the music was just boogie enough to transport you to warmer places.10/10 excellent all around - we will be back.
update: We revisited with a bigger crowd - Consistently one of the best places we've eaten at. Don't think twice - this place is a hidden treasure!
I ordered jerk chicken and Waffles. Chicken had no flavor what's so ever I think they just boiled it and then grilled it I had authentic Jamaican food this ain't it. the atmosphere wasn't doing it either reminds me of sanford &son. Only open 2 days I recommend they close all 7 might work out better. They Jamaica dishes Haitian dishes,and Portuguese I recommend stick to only one and become better at it
Cash only establishment! The sign on the door says there is an atm next door. My husband happened to have some cash on him so we were spared from the random atm fees. My niece and husband really liked their meals. My niece got over easy eggs with toast and plantains. My husband got the french toast. He liked it so much that he got an order to go. My meal on the other hand was not to my liking. My pancake was cold and my shrimp and steak benedict was bland but with a hint of sweetness 🤷🏾♀️. The wait to be seated was about 10 minutes but the wait for our meal was very long! A family that had their order taken about 5 minutes after ours got their food 15 minutes before us. Not sure what happened
